Frequently asked questions
Are the projections realistic?
They assume equal effort across distances. In practice, marathon pace is typically 10–15 seconds per mile slower than a straight scale-up.
What is a good 5K time?
Around 30 minutes for a recreational beginner, 22–25 for a regular runner and under 20 for a competitive club runner.
