- 2Enter both UTC offsets — remember daylight saving changes them.
- 3Add the flight duration in hours.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to allow for daylight saving?
Yes. Offsets shift by an hour in spring and autumn, and the two countries rarely change on the same date.
Why is eastward travel harder?
The body clock naturally runs slightly longer than 24 hours, so delaying sleep (westward) is easier than advancing it (eastward).
